About the programme

MILInvest is Lithuania's first venture capital instrument dedicated to the strategic defence and security sector, funded from the state Defence Investment Fund and implemented through the ScaleWolf Accelerator and ScaleWolf VC funds selected by INVEGA/ILTE. It combines a pre-acceleration programme for team and idea formation with mentorship, acceleration and equity investment for dual-use startups aligned with NATO capability gaps. Portfolio deals range from about EUR 100,000 to EUR 10 million rounds.

Why it matters

It is the established equity-plus-acceleration on-ramp into the Lithuanian defence ecosystem, with Ukrainian battlefield testing feedback loops baked into its model. Successor instrument MILInvest 2 (EUR 40 million) will multiply this capacity from late 2026.
