The Acceleration Fund is Denmark's DKK 50 billion rearmament instrument established in 2025 to buy critical military capacities fast, outside normal budget cycles. FMI uses it for rapid acquisitions supporting reconnaissance and surveillance, defence of the Kingdom of Denmark and NATO deterrence; funded purchases so far include coastal surveillance radars, armoured vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, mortar systems and ground-based air defence. Industry can pitch acquisition proposals directly through a standing form shared with the industripulje on virk.dk.
The single largest pot of near-term Danish defence procurement money, with an explicit invitation for industry to propose what to buy. Speed to fielding is the main selection criterion.
German Federal Government (BMVg and BMI)
One of very few German vehicles paying companies directly for security and defence-relevant research, with multi-million-euro phased contracts. Procurement-law process means longer lead times; watch the partnering events.

The fastest route from prototype to combat-validated deployment anywhere in Europe; grants are non-dilutive and success feeds directly into Ukrainian and, increasingly, NATO procurement.
