Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. About the service
MIKES (defencecal.com) is a curated, informational catalog of defence, defence-tech and dual-use events and funding programmes, operated by Miloxi, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. No warranty on listings
Every listing is curated with care, but dates, venues, fees, deadlines and other details are supplied by third-party organisers and can change without notice. Some dates are projected from an event's usual cycle and are marked as expected rather than confirmed. The catalog is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Always verify critical details (registration deadlines, venue, dates) with the official organiser before booking travel or committing budget.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download the catalog for republication or resale,
- submit false, misleading or spam listings through the submission form,
- attempt to disrupt the service, probe its administrative interfaces or circumvent its rate limits,
- use the site for any unlawful purpose.
4. Submissions
By submitting an event or a funding programme you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. Submissions are moderated; we may edit, reject or remove any listing at our discretion. Public credit for a submission is opt-in. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and adapt the submitted information within the catalog.
5. Intellectual property
The curation, structure, descriptions and presentation of the catalog are our work and are protected by applicable law. Event names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners; their appearance here does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Linking to individual pages is welcome.
6. Third-party links
Listings link to official organiser websites and other external resources. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external sites.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the catalog, including missed deadlines, changed dates, cancelled events, travel costs or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also revise these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Polish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Questions about these terms: use the contact form.
