About the programme

The industripulje is a Danish procurement pool that buys finished defence materiel from industry for donation to Ukraine, administered by FMI. Priorities cover air defence, mine clearing, maritime capacities, autonomous and unmanned systems, maintenance and logistics, command-control-communications and cyber, and soldier equipment, with DKK 500 million earmarked for aerial drones in each of 2025 and 2026. Companies submit proposals through a standing form on FMI's page at virk.dk and receive an electronic confirmation with a case ID. The scheme remains active in 2026.

Why it matters

Real revenue rather than grant funding: FMI signs procurement contracts quickly when a proposal matches Ukrainian needs. It has become a primary route for Danish defence startups to land first contracts.
