FMI Co-financing Scheme

GrantsDefenceFunding

About the programme

FMI's co-financing scheme (medfinansieringsordningen) funds defence-relevant R&D projects carried out by Danish companies and research institutions together with FMI. It serves both as a national R&D instrument and as the standard channel for Danish national co-financing of EDF and EDIDP projects. New application rounds open on an ongoing basis, typically in January and September, and are announced on FMI's website.

Why it matters

For Danish companies in EDF consortia this is the mechanism that tops up EU funding with national money. Expect the next round announcement around September in the usual cycle.
