About the programme

Sweden's government-mandated programme for civil-military synergies, run jointly by Vinnova and the Swedish Armed Forces. It runs a portfolio of recurring calls: acceleration funding for SMEs adapting civilian technology to military use (up to SEK 1 million plus a SEK 150,000 accelerator step), needs-driven thematic R&D calls (SEK 1-7 million), test-and-evaluation infrastructure vouchers (up to SEK 500,000 at 100% de minimis), and ecosystem development calls. Themes track NATO's Emerging and Disruptive Technologies and Swedish Armed Forces operational needs.

Why it matters

This is the main funded on-ramp into the Swedish defence market for companies without a defence track record; the acceleration track even requires that you have no prior business with the Armed Forces or FMV.
