Partially reimbursable aid with a 30% non-reimbursable tranche
About the programme
CDTI supports dual-use technology development through its standard R&D project instrument: partially reimbursable loans that include a 30% non-reimbursable tranche for projects developing technologies with both defence and civil applications. The line operates within Spain's Industrial and Technological Plan for Security and Defence and CDTI's 2019 collaboration protocol with the Ministry of Defence, and applications are submitted year-round through CDTI's electronic office.
Why it matters
A rolling, always-open national financing channel for Spanish dual-use companies, complementary to the annual COINCIDENTE call and usable to cofinance EDF participation.
Danish Ministry of Defence / Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI/DALO)
The single largest pot of near-term Danish defence procurement money, with an explicit invitation for industry to propose what to buy. Speed to fielding is the main selection criterion.
One of very few German vehicles paying companies directly for security and defence-relevant research, with multi-million-euro phased contracts. Procurement-law process means longer lead times; watch the partnering events.
Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.), Polish state development agency
A flexible state lender willing to bank defence-industry companies that commercial banks often avoid, useful for contract financing and liquidity in scaling defence production. No fixed calls: financing is negotiated case by case.
